Parker Model 75 Stirling Silver Fountain Pen (1963)

Parker Model 75 Stirling Silver Fountain Pen (1963) - pen

General

Vintage Parker Model 75 Cisele Sterling Silver Fountain Pen with a 14ct gold nib in medium. The nib reads “Parker 585m France” (14kt gold medium nib) with Parker crest. Parker Introduced the 75 originally in 1964 with the early examples being manufactured in the U.S.A. initially only the sterling silver model was available but by 1970 many more variations were being introduced. In 1974 the French subsidiary of Parker began making a special edition of these pens and five years later in 1979, they were producing the highly regarded Laque range which was quite expensive then. In a very good or excellent condition, they are now very collectable pens.

Features

The Parker Model 75 Cisele Sterling Silver Pen wholly originates from U.S.A. and is a very important example of its kind, renowned for the quality of workmanship and materials. It is all-metal construction with weight of 22.8 g, which does not cause any issues. This pen is well balanced and the supply of parts is still good, however new replacement nibs are expensive, almost as much as we paid for the complete Stirling Silver pen. There are many sizes of Model 75 nibs on the market, yet compatibility needs to be checked first, as there are two different design types in use.

Comment

We like this pen very much and its grip section is very good, so is everything else including its smooth writing and comfortable design for everyday use. I am adding this pen permanently to my personal Amor Poetico collection. I just like it for its simple and honest design and very good quality finish.
