This particular pen bears the production date code which denotes the year it was made in the UK which would be at the Newhaven site, which was to close in 2011. Those pens are now manufactured in France. Parker pens are of excellent quality and are built to last for many long years. The company in fact, offers a two-year warranty for each of their pens.

Purchased by us on Ebay this bespoke Parker pen came with the “Certificate of Authenticity” from the Golden-Ratio-Plating of Sheffield in South Yorkshire, UK. This is a 24K gold layered Parker Frontier fountain custom pen, which apparently was “Expertly Plated with 20micron of real gold by our in-house specialists, using the highest quality 24K gold. All items are pre polished to the highest quality before being given multiple layers of 24K gold then given one final polish to bring out the best possible shine”. The pen come with a signed Certificate of Authenticity by Mr J. Robinson.

Naturally you can buy this pen much cheaper, rather than the custom version shown here. The pen’s nib is in F size with very good flow of ink for sure. This is certainly everyday use pen, very popular worldwide with cartridge converter which we have chosen.
