Montblanc No. 145 Meisterstück Pix Chopin Special Edition Fountain Pen (2019) - pen

General

Montblanc Meisterstück No.145 is offered by MB as a Homage to Fryderyk Chopin. Measuring 140mm capped, and 155mm when posted, the Meisterstück’s No.145 fits perfectly into a shirt pocket. The small circumference of the grip means that it is well-suited to those with smaller hands, where the MB Meisterstück No.145 is possibly a better choice of writing instrument than its much bulkier model, the MB149, which is significantly larger.

Features

It has a medium bi-colour 14k gold nib and can be easily bought with other nib sizes. It can be filled with either an ink cartridge or via MB converter by using ink from a bottle, making it versatile in terms of preference. This Montblanc fountain pen is famous for its classic and timeless design, suitable for those who appreciate top quality craftsmanship. Black precious resin inlaid with Montblanc white star emblem on the top, also three gold-plated rings embossed with Montblanc brand name. Both cylinder and cap are made from jet black high-grade precious resin (BPR).

Comments

MB145 is also expensive to purchase new. A lot of MB145’s are sold on the second-user market for a fraction of the new pen cost. In this case, buying used pen is an option like with MB149 if you want to make it a less damaging for your finances. But again, you have to be very careful and wary of amazing looking fake Montblanc pens that are nowadays unfortunately very common, especially when purchased on-line.
