Amor Nobile

In the vast landscape of various writing instruments, Amor Nobile, brings to us a gently curated collection of fountain pens with a touch of nostalgia. The oldest pen here is over 90 years old and it remains in the hands of the same family, of its first and original owner for most of its life. It survived the dangerous days of WWII and the Cold War. It is still fully useable at present. Thank you very much Pelikan for your classic Model 100. In fact, there are other pens here, some of them first released over 50 years ago, but still in daily use, as well as some of them remaining in current modern production. Amor Nobile pens will survive hopefully, as curated here forever, as these classics are still in high demand in the hands of a new generation. This creates the phenomenon of lasting value, not only to collectors but also to anyone who admires purity of style, highest quality, a history of writing instruments and its provenance. We gave the spotlight to the icons of the past, still surviving and to some others we believe, can become icons soon or in the near future.

Parker Duofold Centennial Fountain Pen (pre-1970)

Parker Duofold is an emblem of Parker’s long heritage. A symbol widely known for over 90 years, and certainly since 1921.

Pelikan Model 100 Vintage, Fountain Pen (circa 1930), circa 94-year-old “senior citizen” in Black with Gold Plated trim

The Pelikan story began in 1832. By 1878, the company became one of the first to use a trade-mark i.e. Pelikan, as a guarantee of the quality.

Pelikan Model M250 Fountain Pen (1985)

The Pelikan M250 was launched in 1985, initially as a black only model, followed by number of coloured variants.

Pelikan Model 400 NN Fountain Pen (1957-64)

The Pelican 400NN fountain pen range was made in Germany and also apparently in Italy sometime between 1957, when the 400NN was introduced and 1964 after which the design of its nib changed very slightly.

Pelikan Model MK 20 Fountain Pen (pre-1970)

This is perhaps one of the best Pelikan fountain pens of the late 1960s and 1970s, the MK20 production known in Europe as the Silvexa range.

Platinum No. 3776 (Mount Fuji) Century Diamond Fountain Pen (pre-2015)

The Platinum Pen Company Ltd of Tokyo, Japan has been manufacturing pens since 1919. This flagship 3776 is one of their best fountain pens with the company's mandatory gold nib.

Senator Windsor Vintage Fountain Pen (pre-1990)

Senator Pen Company historically used to be known as Merz & Krell. Their pen manufacturing business originated in 1920 from Gross-Bieberau in Germany.

Senator Windsor GT Pristine Fountain Pen (pre-1990)

This Senator pen has its own unusual story, which started with two NOS Senator main body parts, which exist if you are lucky enough to find them.

Senator Marble Green & Gold Fountain Pen (pre-1990)

Sheaffer Model 928 Lady Fountain Pen (1970s)

The Sheaffer Lady Fountain Pen was once described as “writes like dream…refills like her lipstick” perhaps, but more interestingly “Lady” models of fountain pens were usually accepted, as a scaled down version of a men’s model.

Visconti Homo Sapiens Bronze Age Maxi Fountain Pen (2022)

For the first time in the writing instrument universe, Visconti of Florence produced a pen using lava from Mount Etna in Sicily combined with modern resin.

Waterman Expert Mk II Fountain Pen (2002-2023)
