A rare Royal Meissen Porcelain in fabulous Imari style. Writing Pen Desk Set with Inkwell, Sander and Undertray. Marked underneath with Meissen blue 19th C, signature date 1815-1860 (Period III) with Meissen crossed swords. All hand painted under the glaze, the tray measures 275 by 195 mm. The faint light blue ink residue found inside.

Royal (Prussian) Porcelain Manufactory in Berlin. Writing Pen Desk Set with Inkwell, Sander and Undertray. In the 19th century KPM introduced its marks with the 3 letters in dark blue for its German name Konigliche Porzellan Manufaktur. The tray measures 220 by 155 mm.
