The primary research question to be tackled at some point is derived from the title: A-Z of Fountain Pen Universe – Post Modern Constructive Commedia dell’Arte, which started long time ago.
Is the imperative of Fountain Pen introduction to the next generation justified, taking into consideration the traditional educational premise to learn to write properly, and to gain these skills preferably at a young age?
The secondary support research questions are:
- Considering the modern-day massive use of digital word processing technologies, are the parallel handwriting skills still valuable or even necessary?
- Why are low-cost quality fountain pens currently widely available everywhere, including internet sources on-line, such as Amazon, and through many retail outlets?
- Why is the use of fountain pens in some schools mandatory in some countries of the world, despite the easily available access to modern digital word processing technologies?
- If the educational systems do not support the use of fountain pens in schools, is there the need and opportunity to practise handwriting skills at home?
- Do you fully or partially agree with the above?

Some countries believe that fountain pens can actually improve academic performance. This is because fountain pens teach children better control over their writing, including reducing the number of mistakes made. Holding a pen incorrectly or with too much pressure may also feel unnatural, so a comfortable grip on a fountain pen can contribute to better writing.
