Montblanc R.S. Stevenson 1883 Fountain Pen Limited Edition
This is a quite heavy fountain pen which incorporates the selectable Union Jack or a… Pirate flag, located at the rear end of its cylinder. It is a limited-edition fountain pen and priced accordingly. Several Montblanc standard nib sizes in solid gold are available. Gold plated on both the solid brass cylinder and cap, and the grip section. It comes with a solid gold nib in 18 K (Au750). Filling system: Piston. It was launched as the Writers Edition by Montblanc at Harrods during 2023.
Montblanc KO-W8 AL – Mohammad Ali 1942 Special Edition, £3,430
This was marked as “Kinshasa, Zaire 1974 – Quezon – 1975”, limited edition fountain pen. Montblanc pays a limited-edition tribute to Muhammad Ali, the three-time world heavyweight boxing champion. The pen is also inspired by the coat he wore prior to the legendary ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ fight in Kinshasa, Zaire, against the then reigning heavyweight champion, George Foreman in 1974. George was a two-time world heavyweight champion and an Olympic gold medalist. A nice touch is the solid gold 18 K (Au750) gold bi-colour nib, which is engraved with his boxing glove. The Montblanc Maria Callas Special Edition pen is dedicated to one of the most charismatic sopranos of the 20th century. The selected nib sizes in 14 K solid gold (Au585) are: Fine (0.50 mm) and Medium (0.62 mm), other MB nib sizes are also available. This edition highlights one of Maria Callas favourite colours, turquoise blue as in the Aegean Sea. Traditionally designed and manufactured by MB in “precious resin” of both the cap and barrel parts, in memory of Callas’s Greek homeland. Filling system options: MB Cartridge or Standard Converter.

These are a special limited edition fountain pens from Montegrappa Venezia, styled and designed in Italy with the UK advertised retail price within the range of approximately between £3,825-£5,395 or even higher. However, often there are many usual exceptions. Montegrappa fountain pens are crafted in Italy, using precious materials and jeweller-calibre craftsmanship to realise their vision of being boldly claimed as the “works of art”. The materials used in these writing instruments here are a major determinant of their cost and the value.
Montegrappa Barbie The Movie Icon Signature Limited Edition Set, £2,880
The above edition comprises 300 numbered sets that include both, the Barbie and the Ken fountain pen, both fitted with a 14 K (Au585) gold nibs. This limited edition comes with a pastel pink lacquered wooden case decorated with the Barbie logo. The interior is decorated with a blue palm tree and pink flamingo, and its lid reads, “This is the best day ever!” Barbie premiered in Los Angeles on 9thJuly, 2023, was released in the United States on 21st July. Its simultaneous release with Universal’s Oppenheimer production led to the cultural phenomenon, which encouraged audiences to see both films as a double feature. The film received massive interest and has grossed US $1.44 billion in ticket sales, becoming the highest-grossing film of 2023, as well as the 14th highest-grossing film of all time.

In the Montegrappa’s Harry Potter Open Platform 9¾ pen, both the name and the details refer to the platform where the stars of the film enter the supernatural magical world. The cap is engraved with the train, the emblem, the indication of Platform and the landscapes that lead to Hogwarts. On the body are the house colours and the school logo.
