General
Here’s our Waterman Hemisphere in Marble Red, with a medium nib. Arrived in London as a special gift from a trip to Paris some 3 years ago and used a little since, whilst always filled with a Diamine Classic Red ink to comply with the marble red barrel and cap colour and its elegant resin material.
Features
Waterman Hemisphere GT gives a smooth and even flow of ink, with no slow starting or skipping, but at a fraction of the price of its many more expensive models. The gold-plated nib in medium size is smooth and rigid with a quite different feed piece fitted, when compared with our other Waterman pens, from a similar production period. I must admit I liked this nib very much for what it is, its simple design without being over decorative and last not least, doing rather well anything I expected from it. Its converter by Waterman, is 70 mm long and made in France and can be exchanged for cartridge but why? The cap, fixed type clip, and its single ring trim are all gold filled, identified with a Waterman logo and country of origin which is France.
Comment
Nice and simple and very useable writing instrument without any pretence of being something else then intended by its manufacturer. The longer I own it the more I like it. It is staying in my collection for good. At present we do not have any other red or marbled red pen totally ready for Diamine Classic Red ink.

Ink used: Diamine Classic Red, UK
